Daelim is Korea’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. The company was founded in 1962. Motorcycle manufacturing is just one of Daelim’s activities, but the company still ranks first in Korea in terms of motorcycle production. Daelim Motor works closely with the Japanese concern Honda, many Daelim models are analogues of well-proven Honda products.

In 1978, Japanese motorcycle leader Honda signed an agreement with Korean company Daelim Motor Co. on licensed production of small- and medium-sized motor vehicles. Having mastered the production perfectly and accumulated valuable experience, the management took up the independent design of the original models. In the 1990s, Daelim's products successfully entered the European market. The company produces cheap, but quite perfect motorcycles. To date, the company has managed to become the largest motorcycle manufacturer in South Korea with a huge variety of various models and classes of motor vehicles. Small-capacity off-road scooters are in special demand, characterized by complete unification from a technical point of view.

Daelim Motor produces mainly scooters, light motorcycles (up to 125 cm3). Daelim motorcycles are of high quality, thanks to many years of model refinement, and are reasonably priced at a level similar to second-hand Japanese motorcycles, so they are in high demand.
