Suzuki history

At the dawn of the 20th century, the small company Suzuki Loom Company was engaged in the production of looms. During World War II, it almost ceased its activities. Later, production resumed, but only until the 50s, when the cotton business collapsed. Suzuki retrained for the production of engines, and then various motorcycle models.

The technique aroused the interest of the Japanese authorities, who began to promote the development of business subsidies. The first Suzuki to roll off the assembly line was a bicycle equipped with a 36 cm³ engine. The flagship of that time aroused great interest. Even with the engine running, pedals could help to overcome temporary loads at low engine speeds. And on smooth roads to drive at higher speed only on engine traction.

Suzuki motorcycles became famous for their victory in motorcycle racing in 1953. And by the beginning of 1954, the company was manufacturing about 6,000 copies per month. Suzuki motorcycle models of that time were more like mopeds. But by 1963, the company began to supply bikes with an engine capacity of 500 cm³ to the American markets.

Suzuki GSF 1200 Bandit

This model was produced from 1995 to 2006 from the Bandit line with an engine capacity of 1250 cm³. The Suzuki GSF 1200 Bandit was one of the brand's best-selling motorcycles. 6 pistons of a brake caliper, reinforced clutch, increased oil cooler. This Suzuki model was upgraded to a high standard and had an average engine speed range.

GSX-R1000

In 2008, the Suzuki range was expanded by the advanced GSX-R. Motorcycle models of 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 differ in some technical characteristics and appearance. The weight of the bike has decreased, which has a positive effect on handling. Moreover, this Suzuki model had higher speed characteristics, and the electronic ECM control unit provides high efficiency of the racing motorcycle engine.

Suzuki SV650X

Suzuki SV650V was the only representative of the brand in Milan at EICMA 2017 in Italy. It is equipped with a V-shaped engine with a volume of 645 cm³ and a power of 75 hp. The 198 kg bike has a black and white design with red lines. A feature of this Suzuki model is the white and round headlight of a classic look.

GSX-S 125

This is not just another Suzuki motorcycle, it is, first of all, the embodiment of the experience of Japanese engineers and the original non-vulgar design. The four-stroke engine with a volume of 124 cc is literally created for long trips. Another advantage is the dashboard in the form of a liquid crystal screen, which displays all the information about the state of the vehicle.

Intruder C800

This Suzuki motorcycle model stands out for its excellent stability and good handling, even on poor road surfaces. It is perfect for both racing and just for long-distance tourist trips. This motorcycle has a V-shaped engine with a volume of 805 cm3 and a power of 53 hp. The Intruder C800 can reach speeds of up to 195 km / h.

V-Strom 250

The peculiarity of this bike is that even novice riders can control it. The model itself has small dimensions and is intended mainly for travel. A 28 hp twin-cylinder engine allows you to accelerate to 185 km / h. The capacious gas tank of this Suzuki motorcycle allows you not to think about refueling for 500 kilometers.

Hayabusa ABS

This model is an aerodynamically calibrated high-speed bike that can accelerate to 100 km / h in a couple of seconds.
