Cleaning the Air Filter Element:
Whilst stressing that the pleated, resin
impregnated paper element is replaceable and should
therefore be changed for a new one and when it is
badly clogged, the life of the element can be
prolonged by superficial cleaning. After removal,
taking care not to deform the element, tap it on a
bench to dislodge as much foreign matter as
possible, then blow clear with compressed air.
